Removing a zero from your ad budget

Samuel Gordon Jeweler in Oklahoma has successfully utilized the tools of social networking in my opinion. Gordon leaped at Facebook, the moment it was available to people outside of college and has been on Twitter for over three years. Using the internet not just to sell jewelery but draw people in, it’s moves like that that helped him reduce his budget of spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on television and magazine ads to using free social networking sites. “Jewelry Friendzy” is another event that has helped tremendously by letting friends receive discounts for referring friends to the business. I can guarentee you won’t see a “going out of business” sign on their window anytime soon!
