2/5 RWR Week 1

Seth Godin on the tribes we lead

This guy is awesome! He has a great sense of humor and was not boring to watch or listen to. 18 minutes of a speaker can be too long and boring sometimes, but I would have had no problem if Seth had exceeded that time. He has valid points about leadership of tribes and marketing yourself or what you believe in. “Find something worth changing, then assemble tribes, that assemble tribes, that spread the idea, that become far bigger than ourself, that becomes a movement,” I like that quote from him. Al Gore, TOM Shoes, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, CD Baby and Meatrix are just a few people and companies he mentions. The one thing they all have in common is they want to move things forward and make something happen to better the future of the world, and thats what he is trying to get others to do.
